Thirthy Three Thoughts at 33!

Life is neither short nor long, it is NOW!Time changes by the second, now it is good and now your world is just upside downPlans always fail because they are meant to fail.Having said the above, always oh! always have a Plan B! and if required a Plan C.Clothes are meant to Fit you, not the other way around.People will body shame at all sizes thus learn to ignore.Your body should be fit to house your excitement hence learn to respect and take care of it very early.People change thus status quo of relationships change ergo life situations change. Thus Learn to Adapt. If life is about getting those tick marks against the bucket List items it is also about erasing a few items so that you can live one for a bit longer. One should fall in Love at least once in their lifetime.Love, Relationships, Marriages, Divorces, Live -in, Breakups, are just between those two people not for anyone's tea time discussion. Period.Personal Space laws also apply to Chat Conversations.Adults are supposed to …

Happy Diwali 2018

Diwali is just right around the corner hence every afternoon I see a rainfall at window as most of the Indian homes go on their annual clean-my-house-episode during this time and hence most of thet prefer washing their windows before they set up the lights and the lanterns.
You can read more about such small and largeDiwali Traditions Here
For me, Diwali is still about lots of beautiful house decor and lot, lots of diyas in the house. Not to mention the #desifashiondays where pull out my vibrant sarees and make my hubby "The Instagram Husband" :) I do not burst crackers and after becoming a mother hate them all the more.
Though I admit after becoming a mother I have also cut down on the diyas in the house just out of fright of my toddler getting attracted to them like Firefly. Decoration has gone minimal because I can imagine my little torpedo wrecking them up and in turn hurting thy self. Yet I still do some decor to lighten a corner of the house up so as to make it feel f…

My Lifestyle Motives!?

We are almost to the end of October 2018 and within a flash, the year will also change to a new beginning. But why do we require an end and a start time frame to achieve a rhythm? We get into the banter of resolutions and then start smashing it out of schedules. Resolutions stopped working for me because it implies a routine restriction or addition which may or may not be achievable due to a variety of human excuses.

At the start of the year, we decide to start with a brand new slate but by the middle of the week, the slate is scribbled with chaos. I am no exception. During my twenties, I have done the whole resolution shebang but those were the years where I was focused on education and career building activities and it worked then. But now in my thirties, things are different.
Also, I believe that
Resolutions are born out of Regrets.
Yes, for example, you regret not paying attention to your health hence you decide to go hit the gym next year or you regret splurging too much in this…

Mommy -Talks, Things & Tricks

My Last Post, A Note to Younger-Selfgot a decent applaud which means that the article received few interactions & few numerous clicks. It may not be much in the blogging world but it means the world to me. Thank you my reading audience for the appreciation. That says I ain't boring you guys, as yet.😌😋

I am grateful for the love but that also puts an unsaid performance pressure of getting it right every time. I am not complaining, I am just putting a point forward. We, humans, feel pressurized once we do something good/ or get something right because then the world expects perfection everytime you make an appearance. And we get smothered under 'expectations' sometimes we do succeed to make it all happen but sometimes we don't.

The same happens to, no wait...not same. The 'same' amplified exponentially happens with Mothers, especially Millennial Mothers. I am not putting down mothers of earlier eras but right now in this internet era everything and everyon…

A Note for the Younger ME!

The ME can be me, or you or even US. The ME can be me with happiness or with sadness The Me can be me, with a problem or with a solution  The ME can be me, just a day prior or someone who still doesn't exist.

We often gaze at the ceiling in the night and let the clock run miles while surfing through memories and acts we did just out of lack of experience or out of the-sheer-spur-of-the-moment feelings, only to realize years later that we could have acted bit sensibly to our benefits.
The night turns to dawn while asking, was that a right thing to do? Could the situation be different if I had not emoted so fiercely? Grinning while answering,' does she/he still think about you?" Sighing many a time and most often not regretting a few decisions.
The ifss and the butts keep revolving like the ceiling fan, making you question your choices.  You wake up in the morning with dark circles, throw some cold water over your face and get on with your day. You might have decided on somethi…
