Kerala Tour Teaser

Visiting God's own country aka Kerala. Just a glimpse of our tour before I start telling you stories about this refreshing place.

Merry Xmas

We wish you a Merry Christmas

Chinese Tapri

Be it gourmet dining date night like at Renaissance or hogging on local cuisines during our trip to Solapur, HubbynMe enjoy both kinds. In our latest search for a new hangout HubbynMe found out Ashben's Chinese , a small Chinese food shack which is a big hit among the localities of Chikuwadi, Borivali West.
Out of all the cuisines the Chinese menu is close to all the Indian potbellies mainly because it is available on the Tapri- a roadside outlet which springs up after 6 pm and runs houseful till wee hours of the dawn.
I was not associated with Chinese food until my grads year mainly because my folks despised the idea of food slipping down from the spoon. Eventually it was drilled down to Me and my Brother that, "Chinese ??? NO NO no no".
We both grew out of it over the time in fact so did my dad but not my mom. Nope. Till date she has not yet reached consensus with Maggi Noodles, leave alone Chinese cuisine.
Chinese food was introduced to me by my grad friends in Can…

Tasty Tuesday Thali

A long day at work today and still have unfinished business.  Right now in Mumbai traffic craving for food. The last supply of  ParleG and Chai (tea) as evening energy boosters evaporated long back. To top it I had a look at the  cellphone click from last weekend outing to my native town Ratnagiri. Tummy ratting out.

Dubai Museum, not prosaic at all

Discovering a new place cannot be complete until one excavates the old roots. The cultural or economical growth can be witnessed only once you head to its historical treasures or simply the Museum.
Now Dubai is the modern face of the world with a perfect blend of culture and great economics, we had to visit it's museum to experience the change Dubai & it's people underwent. I know Museum rides can be mundane so to avoid it grab a gang and go thus exploring becomes fun.

A Solapur, Indian made mattress spread onto a bed placed in a traditional desert hut ;)

It was our local cab driver who insisted us to go and check it out Dubai Museum instead of a mall and we were not disappointed at all. For more details check out and to know more what we did next in U.A.E click here
